Terms of Service – Aura Fit

1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Aura Fit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aura Fit (operated by WaqasTheDev, "we," "us," or "our").

2 Description of Service

Aura Fit is an AI-powered health and nutrition tracking application that provides:

Calorie and macro-nutrient tracking via manual entry, barcode scanning, or AI photo analysis (SNAP)
Personalized AI coaching through Ria, our AI health assistant powered by Claude
Workout logging and calorie burn estimation
Water, weight, and sleep tracking
Apple HealthKit integration for syncing health data
Progress analytics, streak tracking, and achievement gamification

3 Health Disclaimer

      ⚠️ Aura Fit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.
    

The calorie estimates, nutrition data, and AI-generated meal or workout plans are for informational purposes only. Individual results may vary. Do not use this App as a substitute for professional medical advice.

4 User Accounts

To use Aura Fit, you must create an account using a valid email address or Sign in with Apple. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Use automated tools to scrape or misuse the App's AI features

6 AI Features & Third-Party Services

Aura Fit's AI features (SNAP food recognition and Ria AI Coach) are powered by Anthropic's Claude API. By using these features, you acknowledge:

AI-generated nutritional estimates may not be 100% accurate
Food photos you submit are processed by Anthropic's API for analysis
Ria's responses are AI-generated and not a substitute for professional advice

We also use Firebase (Google) for authentication, data storage, and analytics. Use of the App is subject to Google's Terms of Service.

7 Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect and process health-related data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8 Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and software in the App are owned by or licensed to Aura Fit. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of any personal data you input into the App (food logs, weight entries, etc.).

9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aura Fit and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health outcomes resulting from following AI-generated recommendations.

10 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile → Settings → Delete Account screen within the App.

11 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via a push notification or in-app message. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
